Based out of NYC, Alex has produced commercial and branded content work across the US and internationally for over a decade.
Armed with his philosophy degree, Alex moved to New York City in 2009 and started PAing in film and TV. After some time as a PA, G&E truck driver, grip, electric, AC, assistant editor, editor, cameraman, prop stylist, DIT, and boom op, and a bit longer as a production coordinator, production manager and AD, he finally found his way to producing.
For 6 years, he was a line producer, head of production, and then EP at Variable, a New York based commercial production company and creative collective. Going freelance, he then worked as a line producer and EP for several of the top commercial production companies in the industry, including Anonymous Content, Division7, Even Odd, Greenpoint Pictures, Sanctuary, Smuggler, Stink, and others, as well as produced projects through his own company Thread Films.
Going client side, he was a senior client producer for Square, producing testimonial and scripted brand commercial work for their global marketing creative team.
Currently, he is a proud member of the growing team at Picture North, as their head of production.
